We were hit with a huge snow storm last week. It left us with mounds of snow everywhere, which I was sure would melt the next day, but it didn't! It has been fun to occasionally sneak out and play in the snow. I must have had a sixth sense about it cause the other day I woke up and just decided we needed to play in it. Like really play in it, not just walk out for five minutes but get good and bundled and spend the morning out there. It's a good thing I did. The weather has gotten warm and it's gotten up to 56 degrees that last few days! So I was glad we got a day of makeshift sledding and fort making in there before it all melted away.
Our little chubs is crawling around and so mobile lately. He has crawled his way into everyone's hearts, even Alfred. No one can resist it when he crawls up to you and attacks you with slobber kisses and squeals of utter happiness just from looking at your face. It is fun to see October and Alfred learning to love the baby more. They use to acknowledge him and smile with him a little, but now I will see them go out of their way to kiss him or talk to him and bring him a toy. These three are going to be quite the crew.
C and I still going with Homeschooling. I recently moved the kids rooms around a bit to accommodate the fact that his growing up and needs a space he can lego and draw without constantly being told to clean it up or the baby/s will get it. He is after all 7 years old now! That feel like it happened fast.
I went through another round of "who's grown out of their pants" and did a bit of shopping for the whole family. I have been overwhelmed with gratitude for this. It was so easy, I saw we needed pants, I went and bought pants, now we have pants. That is a blessing and a gift and I am thankful for it.
I am {according to Jones} a bulldozer of love. I get an idea in my head and I push and push him until he agrees to do it. "she said I should sit with you, cause it would be good for you." I have his best interests at heart. So I have been wanting to go to Disneyland/world for a while and it looks like I might have bulldozed my way there, possibly soon...cross your fingers for me.
