Valentines Day DIY

A little early Valentines Decorating has been going on over here.
I know quite a few people who are V-day Scrooges.
Not me.
I don't know if its because I was born in February or if it's just my nature but I like having a month to Celebrate the ones we love.
We could gripe about it, wallow in self pity, find reasons to be sad, OR we could see at as an opportunity to serve and love those around us.
Just sayin.

On that note, here are two easy peasy DIY Valentine Decorations.

*I liked my longer tassels better than my short ones, so give them some slack if you want

I had originally envisioned using a thinner string, making it lighter and perhaps "nicer" looking,
but I am an advocate of using what you have and in the end I like my fluffy home made yard tassels :)

This one is slightly unconventional but makes me crazy happy whenever I look at it.

READY FOR THE UNCONVENTIONAL PART!

*I did a test run and found that with a little warm water and soap the honey come off great. I used minuscule amounts so I am not worried about it. You can also use corn syrup or this corn starch paste

Tober snuck a couple gold circles in there. :)

 A little happiness and love.

Of course now I want to make about a thousand of these heart shaped pillow from Ruffles and Stuff

Crystal! How the heck are you?! I haven't been on your blog in so long! I've really been blog slacking! It was so fun to look through some of posts. Your kids are all getting so big, I can't believe it!
I love all the Valentine's decorating you did, looks great and so simple!
But I have to tell you that I am IN LOVE with the photos of your daughter (and son) jumping with the pixie dust!!! Oh my goodness so fabulous!! I love how creative you are. You should definitely print all of the them!!
