Lucy's bedroom

Dana over at MADE is painting her little girls room and asking for help. This is what I suggested.
blue-Bay Waves 4008-1A, Parakeet Green 6010-10, Grand Hotel Geranium Pink 1005-1B, Pink Burst 1003-1A, Peach Punch 1008-2A, Black-New Black

That is a total of 6 paints, but you would only need a lot of the Bay waves color. I think it is a good neutral color that allows you to use white, grey and black furnishings. Painting a mural on the wall is always a good cheap solution to add punch to a room. You can also take the basic shape of the flower and create a border around chalkboard paint on the wall with the kitchen on it. If you want more color Simply create an accent wall in one of the pinks, Or even the green.

The chandelier hanging above the bed is one I made out of cardboard using an Ikea light cord. You can paint it any color and make it any shape! And Target sells these fabulous crystals {7.99}that you can dangle off the chandelier, she will really feel like a princess.

The best part is it can grow with her!

If you aren't comfortable painting free form, you can take this image of the flowers and download it at Rasterbator.com, It will turn it into a pdf. for free and you can then print it out and use it as a stencil! Easy peezy. :)
